Folded insert written by the author's grandson ʻAbd al-Ghanī ibn Ismāʻīl ibn ʻAbd al-Ghanī ibn Ismāʻīl ... al-Qudsī al-Nābulusī. Physical description: 44 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red ; commented text in red. Yāʼ for alif maqṣūrah; final yāʼ generally dotted. The text is framed within two red lines (gold outlined in red on fol. 1b-2a). European paper with watermark. Title on tail of text block. Page (European paper with watermark, "Tre lune") with beginning of the text placed at the... Decoration: Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) simply executed in gold, blue and green on fol. 1b. Origin: According to colophon, copied by Faḍl Allāh ibn ʻAlī ibn ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī ibn Faḍl Allāh al-Biqāʻī al-Bawārshī, Wednesday 17 Rajab 1141 [Feb. 16, 1729] (fol. 313a). Inscription dated 15 Dhū al-ḥijjah 1201 in the name of Muḥammad Z... Ḥamīd Pāshā Zādah and reading statement (naẓara fīh) in the name of al-Sayyid Muḥammad Ibn al-ḥājj Ibrāhīm Afandī -Mnūrī Zādah [Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm] on fol. 1a.
