Physical description: 11 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink, with use of red for headings. Yāʼ for alif maqṣūrah. European paper with thick laid lines. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits the first fol.).
Origin: According to colophon, copy completed on 25 Jumādá al-Ākhar 979 [Nov. 14, 1571] by Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyá al-Arīḥāwī (fol. 32a, followed by undated collation statement).
