Ms. codex. Title from title page (fol. 3a). Physical description: 15 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for entries and text stops. The text is vocalized. Thick light cream paper with laid and chain lines visible ; frame-ruled. Fol. 1 is a later addition (European paper with watermark). The quires (mainly quinions; see however the third quire) are numbered using Arabic ordinals in red ink... Inscription in Arabic script in pencil on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Raqm 106 ...". Origin: According to colophon, copied by Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Abī Bakr (?), and completed on Thursday 12 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 871 [Oct. 22, 1466] (fol. 85b). Three ownership statements on fol. 2a, one dated Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1240, another dated 1304 H. (with seal). Five ownership statements on fol. 3a, some with impression of a seal.
