Red circle text-stops. Dark cream paper with pulp visible (frame-ruled). Some leaves appear darker, and are burnt by the ink. The text on these leaves is often illegible. Annotations on the margin and on small pieces of paper placed or pasted between the original leaves. Grid in red ink on fol... Copy completed on 5 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 883 [June 6, 1478] by Abū Bakr ibn ʻAbd al-Qādir al-Khāfī al-Ḥanafī (colophon, fol. 222b). Ijāzah for al-Shaykh Shams al-Dīn Abū ʻAbd Allāh al-Ḥimṣī from Ibrāhīm ibn ʻAbd al-Raḥmān al-ʻImādī al-Shāfiʻī, with list of the transmitters, dated Aleppo, Jāmiʻ al-Kabīr al-Umawī, 19 Ramaḍān 925 [Sept. 14, 1519] on fol. 223a. The same(?) Ibrāhīm al-ʻImādī signs collation notes (see fol. 84a, on the margin). Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Ḥadīth 24". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ1174". Several ownership statements on fol. 1a and 2a, one in the name of Aḥmad ibn ʻAbd al-Wahhāb al-mawlá khilāfah bi-Madrasat ṢMāfū, with seal, one mentioning the date 1150 H., another mentioning the date 1240 H., etc. From the books of Aḥmad Najīb (ownership statement fol. 2a, dated 1288 H.
