Physical description: 29 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. The text is framed within two lines in red (gold on fol. 1b-2a and 436a). Illuminated title page (fol. 1a). Illuminated headpiece with basmallah (fol. 1b). Colophon in a roundel in gold outlined in black (fol. 436a). European paper with watermark. Several inscriptions, including ownership and waqf...
Collation: Paper, fol. i, 437, i ; i + 110 (-1 at beginning of quire) 2-4310 446 (+2 at beginning of quire) + i ; catchword on the verso of each leaf ; the quires are numbered using Arabic numerals.
Origin: The copy is not dated. It appears to date to the 12th/18th century.
Waqf in the name of al-Ḥājj Aḥmad Pāshā al-Jazzār for his Jāmiʻ Mosque, called Nūr al-Aḥmadīyah [in Acre], dated 1200 H. [1785 or 6], with waqf-seal (fol. 1a). Ownership statement dated [1]151, with seal on fol. 1a. Inscription on fol. (i)b. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942. - Keyword:
