Catchword on the recto of some leaves ; mention "buligha" on the upper corner of the recto of the first leaf of each quire. Some leaves are missing between fol. 73 and 74 (end of faṣl 5 - beginning of faṣl 6). On the doublure of the upper cover: Diagram in black and red ink. Copy completed on Tuesday 23 Shaʻbān 754 [Sept. 23, 1353] (colophon, fol. 82a). Collation completed on 16 Jumādá II 756 [June 28, 1355] (collation statement, fol. 82a). On fol. 1a: Reproduction of an audition statement (samāʻ note) found on the exemplar (nuskhat al-aṣl) on which this copy has been copied or collated, in the name of Saʻd al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn ... and others, dated Cairo (al-Qāhirah) 629 H. [1231 or 32], signed by the author. From the books of Aḥmad ibn Yabghā (or: Baybughā) al-ḤSāmī (copy of audition statement, dated Friday, the last night of Rajab 757 [July 29, 1356], fol. 1a).
