Fol. 1 is a later added fly-leaf, with the recto dyed in blue. Verses of poetry on fol. 1a... Decoration: Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) on fol. 3b, executed in gold leaf , red and black ink. Origin: According to colophon, copied by Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Ṣāliḥ ibn Ḥasan Pāshā al-Rūmī al-Dimashqī. The copy (taḥbīr) was completed on the evening of Thursday 20 Ṣafar 1160 [March 3, 1747] (fol. 496b). Ownership statement in the name of al-sayyid al-ḥājj Muḥammad Qudsī Muftī Zādah, dated Dh[ū] a[l-Qaʻdah] 1179 [1766] on fol. (2bis)a. This is repeated on fol. 3a, with the name reading Muḥammad Qudsī Ibn Ḥasan al-Muftī ... al-maʻrūf bi-Ḥalīm Zādah, dated 1175 H. [1761 or 2], with seal reading "Muḥammad Qudsī 1171".
