Ms. codex. Title from title page (fol. 4a). Number of lines per page varies (18-22). Two types of European paper, with some of the leaves, mostly at the beginning and the end of the copy, apparently later replacements (compare fol. 135 and 136). On the original leaves, written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Larger script in red for headings. Use of yellow ink on the replacement leaves. The name of the maqāmah and... Copy completed on 26 Rajab 1149. This date appears on one of the apparently later replacaments in a note refering to "hādhihi al-ziyādah". See also the ownership statement mentioning the name of the copyist of "hādhihi al-ziyādah", Aḥmad ibn [Ibrā]hīm(?) ibn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-ʻNī(?), on the margin of the colophon (fol. 140b).
