Physical description: 21 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh in black ink with use of red. European paper. At the beginning and the end of the copy are two leaves of thick paper (blank). Several inscriptions, including Kabīkaj, on fol. 1a. The lower outer corner of fol. 2-9 is wanting, with loss of text.
Title on a label pasted on the upper cover (inverted) : "Sharḥ al-Arbaʻīn al-Nawawī".
Origin: Copied by Ḥusayn ibn ʻAbd al-Ḥaqq al-Ṣafadī. Text 1 completed on 17 Muḥarram 1026 (for 1126) [Feb. 2, 1714] (colophon, fol. 63b) ; text 3 completed on 4 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1125 [Oct. 24, 1713] (colophon, fol. 125b) ; text 4 completed on 17 khalat Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1125 [Dec. 5, 1713] (colophon, fol. 179a).
