Fol. 1 and 418 thicker than the other leaves. Inscriptions on the pastedown of the upper cover and on fol. 1a, including verses of poetry. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits a fol. between fol. 1 and 2). Inscription in Arabic... Copy completed on Friday 8 Rajab 980 [Nov. 14, 1572] by ʻAlī Ibn al-ʻAlam al-Qudsī in Damascus (colophon, fol. 417b). Several ownership statements on fol. 1a, one in the name of Muḥammad Ibn ʻAbd al-Raḥmān al-Saʻdāwī(?) al-Qādirī al-Ṣāliḥī, dated 29 Shawwāl 1201 [Aug. 14, 1787].
