Ms. codex. Title from title page (fol. 1a). 17 lines per page. Written in medium small nask in black ink with use of red for headins and re-inking. Light cream paper with laid and chain lines and pulp visible. Fol. 157 apparently two leaves pasted together. Fol. i and ii are later added flyleaves, European glazed paper with watermark. Marginal annotations (mostly collation notes, in two different hands). Verses of poetry refering to the... Copy completed in 858 H. by Muḥammad ibn Salāmah ibn Sālim ibn Abī Bakr ibn ʻUmar al----? al-Anṭāqī al-Ḥalabī al-Qādirī al-Ḥanafī, imām of the Jāmiʻ Mankalībughā al-Shamsī (colophon, fol. 253b). Inscription in Western numerals on a circular label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "1108". Inscription in Roman script on a label pasted on fol. (i)a: "1=405..." Several ownership and reading statements on fol. 1a, 255b and 256a (with one seal), one refering to Miṣr (fol. 256a) ; one in Ottoman Turkish dated 17 M[uḥarram] 1164.
