Fol. 81-256 written in medium small naskh in black ink with larger script for headings, with 23 lines per page (written surface: 183 x 135 mm.), on light cream paper with laid and chain lines... Collation: Paper, fol. 257 ; 1-810 + 910 (-1 before fol. 81, corresponding to fol. 80 in the modern foliation in pencil) 10-2510 268; catchword on the verso of each leaf. Copy completed on a Monday in the middle of Jumādá al-Ūlá 722 by ʻAlī ibn ʻĀlim ibn Muḥammad ibn Zakī, known as ʻAlawī al-Khujandī(?) in al-Quds al-Sharīf [Jerusalem] (colophon, fol. 255a). The first 80 fol. are from an earlier hand. Ownership statement signed Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥājj Ḥusayn al-Farūkhī, who acquired the ms. from al-Sayyid Yaḥyá al-Muadhdhin, dated 1149 H. [1736 or 7], and verses of poetry on fol. 1a.
