Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "14". Copy completed on 17 Jumādá al-Awwal 746 [Sept. 15, 1345] by ʻĪsá ibn Ayyūb ibn ʻĪsá al-Buṣrāwī thumma al-Najrānī al-Shāfiʻī, muʼadhdhin at the Jāmiʻ al-Ṭāhirī in Ṣafad (colophon, fol. 228a). Collation: Paper, fol. 230 ; 110 (-1) 2-2210 2310 (+1) ; catchword on the verso of each leaf ; the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals in the form "al-Thānī min al-awwal" (see fol. 10a) ; there is a change in the numbering of the quires from fol. 179a, where it starts to have the form "Thāmin ʻashar awwal al-Tahdhīb" (with "Thāmin ʻashar min al-awwal"! on the preceding quire, fol. 170a). Several reading and ownership statements on fol. 1a, signed Ibrāhīm ibn ʻUmar al-Buqāʻī, dated Rabīʻ al-Ākhar 881 [1476]; Ibn Shams al-Dīn al-Ṣafūrī, dated 1042 H.
