Page 2 of endpaper bears crude pencil drawings of a male rider on a horse.
Copyist identified in colophon as: Buṭrus ibn Mīkhāʾīl.
Ms. in naskh script on glazed paper. 33.4 x 23 cm. Text completely vocalized; catchwords. Some headings and punctuation in red ink. P.2 has simple floral and geometric design in red and black ink surrounding the basmala.
Some pages at beginning of text are wrinkled and loosened from binding. Many leaves are torn at edges; some have corners missing. Ink has bled through in some places. Many repairs evident.
Binding is cloth and leather over boards. Spine and cover corners are red leather, covers are gray-green cloth. Edges are worn. Cloth eroded in some places. Some insect damage. Pastedowns goldenrod yellow paper. Leather endbands.
