Description: Written in large script in black ink with use of red for keywords and headings. Red dots text-stops, some outlined in black. Some lines are crossed out. Cream paper, glossy, with laid and chain lines visible. Laid lines visible on the surface. Some leaves are now darker.
Origin: Copy completed on Thursday 12 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 822 [Nov. 30, 1419] in al-Madrasah al-Ḍiyāʼīyah(?) in Ṣāliḥīyah Dimashq by Aḥmad ibn ʻAlawī ibn Ḥamzah al-Ḥanbalī (colophon, vol. 7, fol. 306b-307a).
Vol. 2 : First leaf (title page) damaged. Title on the tail of text-block: "al-Thānī min Maqbūl al-manqūl".
Vol. 4 : Two quires missing at the beginning. Incomplete at end. Leaves missing between fol. 90 and 91 and 98 and 99.
Vol. 5 : Table of contents on fol. 1a-b. Title page with waqf statement on fol. 2a. Leave missing in the third quire. Fol. 115 apparently misplaced.
