A few marginal notes. Lines of verse and other inscriptions (v. 1, fol. 208a-b). Names of seventeen of the better known commentators on Dīwān al-Mutanabbī (v. 2, fol. 1a). Largely illegible titles also appears on lower edge of text blocks.
Collation: Paper ; fol. 208 + 174 ; catchwords (vol. 2 only) ; folation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals (v. 1) ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 22-35 lines per page ; volume 2 is ruled.

Origin: According to colophon copy completed Monday 10 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1057 by Abū al-Falāḥ ʻAbd al-Ḥayy ibn Aḥmad ibn al-ʻImād, known as Ibn al-ʻAskar. (v. 2, fol. 174a).
