Marginal notes and glosses. On the title page are autographs of several owners and date of death of author. On two folios after the colophon the copyist has quoted from Ibn Khallikānʼs account of the authorʼs life and selections from his poetry.
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 166 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 21 lines per page in two columns ; frame-ruled in red.
Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (crown-star-crescent) ; MS in good condition but several folios are worm-eaten and mended.
Origin: According to colophon copy completed Sunday 12 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1092 by ʻĪsá ibn Muḥammad ibn Salmān (fol. 163b).
Ownership signatures: Jasīn[?] ibn Muḥammad Saʻīd al-Manūfī dated 1154, other obscured signatures, one dated 1281 (f. 1a); Jaʻfar ibn Muḥammad [?] dated 1167 (f. 1a and 166a). Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900. - Keyword:
