Marginal notes; marginal summaries. al-Sakhāwī states in the introduction that he arranged the book and added in a supplement some of the biographies as found in al-Madārik, probably Madārik al-tanzīl wa ḥaqāʼiq al-taʼwīl, by Ḥāfiẓ al-Dīn Abū al-Barakāt ʻAbd Allāh ibn Aḥmad al-Nasafī, 710 [1310/1]. Description: Rubricated ; overwriting and overlining in red ; some vowel signs ; some paper tinted dark brown ; MS in fair condition but foxed and worm-eaten; pages are loose. MS is rare.
Origin: According to colophon copy completed Saturday end of Shawwāl 939 by Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī al-Dāwūdī al-Mālikī (fol. 225b).
