Prayers and inscriptions in Arabic and Indonesian (in Pegon script) at beginning and end of text (fol. ia-1a, 325b-326b, lower pastedown).
Collation: Mulberry fiber paper ; fol. ii + 326 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 13 lines per page ; frame-ruled in black.
Description: Rubricated ; vowel signs ; MS in good condition.
Decoration: Opening and closing spreads have a wide border of red and black with curlicues, text, floral designs, and geometric patterns (fol. 1b-2a and 324b-325a). Some divisions marked with marginal decorations in black.
Origin: Probably from the early XVIIth century.
Acquired by C. G. van Hoogenhouck Tulleken (1802-1859) during an expedition to Bali in 1846 (label inside the upper cover). Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1904. - Keyword:
