Leaf 1a has several inscriptions of ownership. Ms. in naskh script in 2 different hands on glzaed paper. 26.6 x 18.7 cm. Headings and underlinings in red. F. 1b and 2a have gold and red ruled border; rest of text has rule border in red. Catchwords; some vocalization. Paper is glazed, mass produced stock. Leaves bear several different watermarks, some of which are European. One includes the date 1749. Very good condition. Binding is Moroccan red leather wallet style. Covers have frames of two blind stamped double fillets with gilt stamped mandorlas in center. Envelope flap has gilt stamped mandorla; fore edge has single fillet. 414701. Gift of Mrs. William C.
