Page 171 has a 5 line prayer, followed by the basmala.
Ms. in naskh script on laid paper. 25 x 18.9 cm. Overlinings in red ink. Text partially vocalized. Some marginalia. Last 6 1/2 pages in blue ink.
Paper is unglazed laid stock of European origin. No discoloration. Very clean; very good condition. Leaves bear two watermarks: a crescent moon with face in profile; a double headed eagle with the letter H on the chest and the letters HAF beneath. Text block has been trimmed.
Copyist identified on p. 131 as: Aḥmad Bakīr.
Binding is quarter leather. Spine has four raised bands and four blind stamped gilt designs of a floral motif. At foot of spine is a name stamped in gilt and a foliar band in gold below it. Covers are green cloth embossed with a geometric design.
