Physical description: 18 lines per page; written in crude naskh in black on laid European paper. Headings and some punctuation in red ink. Catchwords; a few marginal notes. Lacunae follow fol. 15, 48 and 55. Paper is slightly discolored, some leaves torn, others repaired, especially in gutter. Edges ragged; minor insect damage. Some damp staining. Text block loosened from binding.
Origin: Copy completed July 1807 by Ibrāhīm al-Shāmī ibn Ḥurmat [?] ibn Yūsuf al-Shāmī in nine days (fol. 61a).
Note dated 1829 on fol. 61a.
