Dark cream paper with pulp and laid lines visible. Marginal annotations. Fol. 315 is mended, with inscriptions on the repair. Fol. 1 and 316 are later additions in European paper, the first one with mention of the title, and a note in Persian... Copy completed in Mashhad ... ʻAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib [Najaf], on ? Muḥarram 733 by Muḥammad ibn Salmān ibn ʻAlī al-Asadī (colophon, fol. 315b). Several ownership statements on fol. 2a, one in the name of Ḥabīb Allāh [...] Dīn Muḥammad ibn Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn ʻAlī al-Ḥusaynī al-Shīrāzī by birth, al-ʻIrāqī by residence, dated 871 H. [1466 or 7].
