Inscription with mention of price on fol. (i)a. Verses of poetry on fol. 83b. Two handmade labels on the binding: one on the spine with a now illegible inscription; one on the upper left corner of the upper cover, with the inscription :"116 [next line] 29 (or 39)" in Arabic numerals. Layout: 16 lines per page. Description: Written in small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Thin dark cream paper, glossy, with thick laid lines and pulp visible. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits the first fol.). Origin: According to colophons, written between end of Jumādá al-Ūlá and Rajab 1140 [Jan.-Feb. 1728], by Muḥsin Ibn ʻAlam al-Hudá, grandson of the author (fol. 54a and 83a). On fol. 1a: Stamp reading according to a note : "Muḥammad ʻAlam al-Hudá Yā Muḥsin aghfar lī", dated 1128 (or 38?) H. [1716 or 1726] (repeated on fol. 58a) ; one dated Jumādá al-Ūlá 1321 [July-Aug. 1903] ; impression of a stamp (repeated on fol. 57a, 58a).
