Physical description: 15 lines per page; written in naskh in black on thin, ivory, glazed, laid Arabic paper. Vocalized. Interlinear Persian translation in small nastaʻliq in red. Catchwords. Edges painted with blue design. First four and last three leaves blank. In excellent condition.
Decoration: Elaborately illuminated two-page spreads on fol. ivb-1a, 312b-314a in gold, blue and red, containing the first sūrah and last two sūrahs. Illuminated ʻunwān on fol. 1b. Sūrah headings in gold and blue. Ruled marginal lines in gold and blue; floral decorations in margins marking aḥzāb and ajzāʾ. Verses separated with gilt circles. Arabic text in bands of gold.
