Written in medium small naskh in black ink (fading to brown), with use of red. Light cream paper with laid and chain lines visible. Inscriptions, including verses of poetry on fol. 1a (worm-eaten). Two spine labels, with respectively the title and the number "365" in Arabic and Western numerals. Copied by Muḥammad Ibn Aḥmad al-MQhī on 10 Jumādá al-Awwal 894 (colophon, fol. 68a). Copied for (bi-rasm) Jamāl(?) al-Dīn Ibn al-Shaykh al-ʻālim al-ʻallāmah Zayn al-Dīn Ibn al-ʻAllāf al-Shāfiʻī (colophon, fol. 68a). Ownership statement on fol. 68b.
