Several short inscriptions on fol. 1a and fol. 10a-b, one of them (on fol. 10b) a record of birth on the 10th of Ṣafar 1051 (1641). Another date on the same fol.: 18th of Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1082 (1671).
Collation: Paper ; fol. 10 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 23 lines per page.
Description: Written in a casual medium small script with elements of nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Glazed European paper with watermarks.
Ownership signatures: Muḥammad ... dated 1280, Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ ibn al-Muṣṭafá[?] Ibrāhīm Ḥammād (fol. 1a); Muḥammad ... al-Shāfiʻī, Ḥusyan ibn Ismāʻīl[?] (fol. 10a). Acquired by Robert Garrett from Brill, Leyden, 1900.
