This is not a ʻʻtreatise on the unity of Godʼʼ (Garrett 1514, copied from Berlin 2474) but a commentary on a statement in the preface of al-Fawāʼid al-Fanārīyah which runs as follows: ... اعلم ان من حق کل طالب کثرة تضبطها جهة وحدة ان ىعرفها بتلك الجهة وىحصل الشعور بها قبل الشروع فىها حتى ىأمن من فوات شىء مما ىعنىه وصرف الهمة الى ما لا ىعنىه
