Ms. codex. Title from title page (fol. 2a). The word "al-Fazārī" is added by a later hand. The name of the author appears in the colophon (fol. 38b). 21 lines per page. Written in clear thick medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Light cream paper with pulp and a few chain lines visible. Two spine labels (vertical), with respectively the title in Arabic script (partly wanting) and the number 388, in Arabic and western numerals. Worm-eaten. Extremely fragile. Collation: Paper, fol. 38, i ; i (later addition ; European paper ; fol. 1 in the modern foliation) + 1-310 410 (-2, after fol. 38) + i (later addition ; European paper ; blank) ; some quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals (see "rābiʻ" on fol. 31a ; cut off due to the trimming of the pages on the other quires). Copy](?) and collation on the autograph completed during the author's lifetime, in Damascus, in Madrasat al-Bādarānīyah(?), 725 H. (fol. 38b).
