A collection containing:
1. Ḥāshiyah ʻalá Sharḥ al-Mulakhkhaṣ fī al-hayʼah, by ʻAbd al-ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn Ḥusayn al-Birjandī, gloss on the commentary of Mūsá ibn Maḥmūd al-Rūmī Qāḍīʹzādah on al-Mulakhkhaṣ fī al-hayʼah.
2. Sharḥ Khulāṣat al-ḥisāb, by ʻUmar ibn Aḥmad Chillī, a commentary on Bahāʼ al-Dīn al-ʻĀmilī's treatise on mathematics.
3. A fragment of a commentary on Ashkāl al-taʼsīs.
4. Sharḥ AshkāI al-taʼsīs, by Qāḍīʹzādah. On two folios following is a fragment of a work on geometry. The name Saʻd al-Dīn al-Taftāzānī, A.H. 792 [A.D. 1390] appears in the colophon of this fragment.
5. Risālah fī asmāʼ rusūm al-asṭurlāb wa-baʻḍ aʻmālihā. Treatise on the astrolabe comprising an introduction, 15 chapters (faṣl) and a conclusion, giving the names of its parts and segments and the instructions as to its use. The name of the author is mentioned as being Ibn al-Shāṭir in Islamic Manuscripts, Garrett no. 1066Y (1131H.). All other copies are anonymous.
6. Hidāyat al-ʻāmil bi-al-rubʻ al-kāmil, an astronomical treatise on the full quadrant, by Badr al-Dīn Sibṭ al-Māridīnī d. after A.H. 891 [A.D. 1486]. See Ahlwardt, Verzeichnis der arabischen Handschriften, 5853. Title appears as Risālat Muqanṭarāt.
7. Risālah fī al-ʻamal bi-al-rubʻ al-mujayyab, an astronomical treatise on the use of the sinical quadrant, by the same al-Māridīnī. Ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn (1835-58), III, p. 388; Ahlwardt, Verzeichnis der arabischen Handschriften, 5818.
8. Risālah fī al-usṭurlāb, by Suwaylamʹzādah.
9. Risālah-i sāl-i Turkān, a short treatise on the Chinese zodiac.
Marginal and interlinear notes and glosses. Ruled marginal lines in red in the last six works. Several works in the collection are illustrated with well-drawn diagrams. Works (5) and (6) were copied in Diyārbakr, A.H. 1130 [A.D. 1718], by Muḥammad ibn Mullā Nadhīr al-Makkūdī [?]. Evidently whole collection is from same date and by same hand. MS in good condition; Arabic binding with flap.
