A fragment of an Alfīyah (an ode of a thousand verses) and its commentary on jurisprudence. It is probably the Alfīyah of Abū al-Walīd Muḥammad Ibn al-Shiḥnah, A.H. 815 [A.D. 1412/3]. See ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn (1835-58), I, p. 419. Beg.: بالتمکن وان لم ىصرح بالرضى ... ولا ردان ... Ending: ... بامکانه الفسخ بعد الروىة فىسقط بالتمکن Marginal notes and summaries. Text in red on the last 39 folios. Incomplete at beginning and end. The first 99 folios are on different paper. MS in fair condition; Arabic binding. Probably from XVIIIth century. Acquired from Bārūdī, Beirūt, A.D. 1925.
