9 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh with elements of taʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Biscuit paper with laid and chain lines visible. The first fol. consists of a modern flyleaf pasted on the recto of an original leaf. Ḥāshiyah on the margins, on some leaves (see fol. 3), and on smaller pieces of paper (see between fol. 5 and 6), apparently by the same hand as the main text...
Copied by Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad in Rajab 806 [Jan.-Feb. 1404] (colophon, fol. 93b).
Inscription in Arabic script in pencil on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Uṣūl 46 ["49" added in purple ink]". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 733".
