Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (crown with roman-alphabet "A" underneath, star with a crescent on top) ; MS in very good condition.

On folio before the title page are a prayer; the date of the death of ʻAlī Afandī, qāḍī of Makkah, 1109 1697/8, and a talisman against the plague. On title page is a statement that the author prepared an abridgment of the work in a book entitled Durar al-fawāʼid al-farāʼid.

On the title page are several ownership signatures: Muṣṭafá al-Warrāq, an obliterated signature, and a statement that Muḥammad Adīb . was given the book by Ḥasanī Afandī Kadūqī ? in 1291 1874/5.
