Note:

Collation: Paper ; fol. (1) + 132 ; catchwords ; foliated in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Description: Rubricated ; vowel signs ; MS in fair condition but some folios are worm-eaten.
Layout: 27 lines per page.
Marginal notes and glosses. Evidently the last folio is by a later hand. On the folio preceding the title page is a poem by Abū Naṣr Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Maḥmūd al-Tāwikhī(?) and some other additions. On the page after the colophon and on the folio following occur two verses of poetry in praise of the book, a statement by the author that he composed this work 875 [1470], and several poems...

The title page carries a large number of ownership signatures, some partially erased or overlapping. They include: H[?] al-Sulṭān dated 984, ʻAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn al-Maʻarrī, one dated 1030, another dated 1095. Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900.
