A metrical treatise, in 673 verses of poetry of the qaṣīr meter, on the science of the readings of the Koran. Beg.: بسم الله الرحمن الرحىم. بدأت بحمد الله في الذکر اولا Colophon: وتمت بعون الله نظمًا قصىدتي * وبعد حمدت الله قولا ومفعلاً * وثم صلوة الله اىضا سلامه * على احمد المختار قدرًا ومنزلاً * وثم على اله وصحبه واهله * ومن ىقرء القرآن جودًا وموبلاً * وابىاتها سبعون معه ثلثة * بستمائة قصرًا ولىس مطولاً. تم Ruled marginal and interlinear lines in gold and color. The first page is illuminated with gold and color. The work was dedicated to Sultan Bāyazīd II, A.D. 1481-1512. MS in good condition; Arabic leather binding with flap; blind stamped on flap; blind tooling on cover and flap. Probably from the XVIIIth century. Acquired from Brill, Leyden, A.D. 1904.
