Ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn (1835-58), II, p. 572 states that the author completed the composition of his work in Adrianople, 854 [1450/1] and dedicated it to the Sultan the Conqueror, Muḥammad II, who reigned 855-886 [1451-1481]. Inscription after colophon dated 1188 [1774/5]. Title also on lower edge of text block. Collation: Paper ; fol. 321 + (1) ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals. Layout: 27 lines per page ; ruled. Description: Folios 1-28 and 139-288 written in Fārisī, other sections in general script by a different hand ; rubricated ; some overlining in red ; some vowel signs ; MS in good condition. Origin: According to colophon copied 949 (fol. 321a). Owned by Sīwāsī Afandī of Constantinople, two seal impressions (fol. 1a). Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900.
