Note:

Collation: Paper ; fol. 243 + (1) ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Description: Rubricated ; watermarks ("G.E.B." and three crescent moons) ; MS in good condition but several folios are worm-eaten and a few stained with dampness. MS may never have been sewn, quires and binding are all loose.
Layout: 23 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red with red markings between hemistitches.

On fol. 1a are the autograph of an owner ʻAlī ibn ʻAbd Allāh, Nāʼib bi-Ḥaram al-Makkī and his seal impression reading: "The one who is sure of the goodness of the Generous One, ʻAlī ibn ʻAbd Allāh, the caretaker of the ḥaram". Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900.
