The first page of the text has a gold headpiece with blue and white decoration and gold and blue frame-ruling. Folio 2a has gold and blue frame; subsequent folios have a blue single-line frame. Codex... Description: Red, black and green headings throughout ; MS is rare ; MS in fair condition, many folios are worm-eaten with some mended. Layout: 15 lines per page ; frame-ruled in blue ; verse separators in red or green. Marginal notes. On folio 128 there is a ʻʻpoetical treeʼʼ in praise of al-Malik al-Nāṣir. MS of importance for the historical study of the Rasūlid period. The author occupied a teaching position in the Jihādīyah School at Taʻizz and in the Niẓāmīyah at Zabīd.
