The work was composed 797 (1394/95) in Maʻarrat al-Nuʻmān, where al-Ḥasan ibn ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyá ibn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Naṣr ibn Abī Bakr ʻAbd al-Razzāq ibn ʻAdb-al-Qādir al-Jīlānī, a descendant of the great Jīlānī, asked Ibn Ḥijjah to amplify the poem and showed him a previous amplification of the same poem by Ibn al-Ṣāḥib...
