Description: Rubicated ; verse separators and other use of red ; some headings and other words overwritten in red ink, possibly at a later time or by a different hand ; MS in poor condition with a number of repairs and some staining.
Layout: 17-19 lines per page.
Marginal notes and glosses in different hands. On title page is a statement showing the wisdom of the Prophetʼs having been born on a Monday in Rabīʻ I, a statement that the MS was written by the author himself. On page after colophon are a quotation of verse and prose ascribed to al-Shāfiʻī, another ascribed to Abū Zayd al-Bisṭāmī and eight verses of poetry entitled al-Mukhammas...
