Title and table of contents by a later hand on the margins of fol. 1a. Title on the tail of the text block (hardly legible). Spine label (horizontal) with inscription "12" in Arabic numerals.
Collation: Paper ; fol. 206 ; 1¹⁰ (-1, before fol. 1) 2-20¹⁰ 21¹⁰ (-3, after fol. 206) ; the quires are numbered in black ink, using Arabic ordinals in the form "thānī (see fol. 10a) and "thāmin al-awwal" (see fol. 70a) ; foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 27 lines per page.
Description: Written in medium small script in black ink with use of larger script and red ink re-inking for headings. Dark cream paper with laid lines and pulp visible (frame-ruled).
Decoration: Illuminated title page (ʻunwān) in gold, white, black and blue (fol. 1a).
According to the title page and the colophon, copied by Idrīs ibn ʻAbd Allāh ibn ʻAbd al-Khāliq al-mutaṣawwif from an autograph in Baghdād, 685 1286 or 7 (see fol. 1a and 206a).
