Ownership statements and inscriptions on the front cover. Inscription in another hand on fol. 94 b (ḥadīth).
Collation: Paper, fol. 94 ; 1¹⁶ ( -1, following fol. 15) 2¹⁶ ( -1, before fol. 16) 3-6¹⁶ ; quires numbered using Arabic ordinals from the third quire (numbered "al-rābiʻ") to the sixth quire (numbered "al-sābiʻ"), not visible on the fifth quire (fol. 63a) ; each juzʼ corresponds to a quire, except juzʼ 2 which comprises two quires ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 20 lines per page.
Description: Written in a very casual medium small script using black ink. The entries and parts of the text are written in a larger script ; some vowel signs.
Paper: Dark cream paper with horizontal laid lines visible.
