The title on fol. 1a reads : "al-Juzʼ al-ḥādī wa-al-ʻishrūn min Ṣaḥīḥ al-Imām Abī ʻAbd Allāh al-Bukhārī". Collation notes (mention "balagha" at the end of each quire; collated on a copy written by Abū Jaʻfar Aḥmad(?) ibn Yūsuf ibn Mālik al-Ruʻaynī al-Gharnāṭī, see fol. 112b).
This might be part of the same set as Islamic Manuscripts, Garrett no. 688H(i).
Collation: Paper ; fol. 112 ; 1-10¹⁰ 11¹² ; catchword on the verso of each leaf, except the 5th of the quinions; from the 4th quire on, catchword on the verso of the 1st to 4th and 10th fol. of each quire (1st to 6th in the 11th quire) ; quires numbered using Arabic ordinals (starts on fol. 11 a, "thānī") ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 11 long lines per page.
Description: . Written in medium large script in black ink, with use of red for the word "ḥaddathanā". The headings are in a larger black script. Light cream glazed paper, with vertical chain lines (grouped by two and three) and laid lines visible. Text vocalized troughout.
Origin: Copied in Aleppo by Jaʻfar ibn Ismaʻīl ibn Aḥmad al-shahīr bi-Ibn Zafrah(?) on 14 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 791 December 1389 (colophon, fol. 112b).
