Extent: 80 leaves : paper ; 212 x 135 (150 x 70) mm bound to 211 x 140 mm.

Marginal notes and glosses. Title page of Asās al-iqtibās includes entry from Kashf al-ẓunūn and lines of poetry (fol. 5a).
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 80 + i ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 21 lines per page in one or two columns ; frame-ruled in red.
Description: Rubricated ; vowel signs ; watermarks (eagle?) ; MS in good condition.
Decoration: Jawharat al-tawḥīd has an elaborate illuminated headpiece of gold, orange, blue, red, black and green. Opening spread frame-ruled in gold (fol. 1b-2a). Asās al-iqtibās has an elaborate headpiece in the same colors. Opening spread frame-ruled in gold (fol. 5b-6a).
Origin: According to colophon for the volume copy completed 1247 in al-Qayṣarīyah by Muḥammad al-Rushdī (fol. 80b).
Seal impression of al-Sayyid Muḥammad Nūrī dated 1297 (fol. 1a). Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900.
