Decoration: Elaborate illuminated headpiece in gold, blue, red, orange, green and black (fol. 2b). Frame-ruled in gold on fol. 2b and 3a.
Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (grapes, crown, roman-alphabet letters?) ; MS in good condition.
Layout: 17 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.
Marginal notes and glosses. On the folio before the title page occur 3 verses of poetry, the date of the death of ʻAbd al-Qādir al-Kīlānī, a statement by al-Dhahabī about al-Safarjalānī. It is evident from the colophon of the first work that MS was copied for Muḥammad Afandī al-Qādirī al-Kīlānī.

Origin: Dīwān al-Safarjilānī According to colophon copied Jumādá II 1141 for Muḥammad Afandī al-Qādirī al-Kīlānī (fol. 32b).

Ownership signatures on collective title page (fol. 2a): Jaʻfar Muḥyī Qādirī dated 1219 with his seal impression, and ʻAlī, Nāʼib al-Ḥaram dated 1263. Three other stamp impressions are obliterated. Ownership signatures of second work (fol. 33a): obscured name dated 1219 followed by ʻAlī, Nāʼib al-Ḥaram dated 1263 (fol. 33a). Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900. - Keyword:
