Seal impression obscured (fol. 1a, first group and fol. 1a, third group). Seal impression dated 1277 partially obscured on fol. 1a, second group. First work on different paper of smaller size.
Collation: Paper ; fol. 5 + 63 + (1) + 78 + (2) ; quires of second group signed: 1-7 ; quires of third group signed: 1-8 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 15 lines per page ; first work frame-ruled in red, hemistitches separated with ruled double lines and asterisks ; second work frame-ruled in red.
Description: Rubricated ; text in red and commentary in black ; vowel signs ; watermarks (first work: coat-of-arms, roman-alphabet letters "BV"; second and third work: shield with a face-in-the-moon and roman-alphabet letters "AG") ; MS in good condition.
Decoration: Simple headpiece of crossed red lines (fol. 1b, second group)
Origin: Sharḥ Shaykh al-Islām Copied 1 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1267 by Ibrāhīm ibn Abī al-Suʻūd al-Jīzāwī (fol. 63a) -- Hādhihi Ḥāshiyat al-Nikāt Copied Wednesday 20 Dhū al-Qaʻdah by Ibrāhīm ibn Abī al-Suʻūd al-Jīzāwī in al-Ḥaram al-Makkī (fol. 78a, third group).
