Marginal notes. Statement on fol. 1a that the MS consists of 81 leaves and 8 quires. Table on fol. 22a. Stated in colophon that MS was made from another copy in the library of the Shaykh al-Islām in al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah.
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 80 + (1) ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 29 lines per page ; a few scattered folios are frame-ruled in different colors.
Description: Rubricated ; overlining in red ; some overlining, entries, and other use of blue ; some vowel signs ; watermarks (double-headed eagle topped by a crown holding a sword; shield with a face-in-the-moon; three crescents, roman-alphabet letters "Galvani") ; MS in excellent condition.
Decoration: Elaborate illuminated headpiece in yellow, orange, blue, and green. Frame-ruled in yellow and black on fols. 1b and 2a.
Origin: Tahdīm al-arkān Copied 1275 -- al-Risālah al-Ighrīḍīyah The copy of the majmūʻah was completed Tuesday 25 Muḥarram 1275 by Muḥammad ʻAlī ibn Ḥusayn ibn ʻUmar al-Dimashqī in al-Madīnah (fol. 80b).
