Marginal notes and glosses. On fol. 1a occurs another title, Kitāb fī naẓm al-qawāʻid... . Folios 1, 2, 7 and 8 are by one hand and folios 3-6 by another. Several ownership statements and seal impressions, some obscured.
Collation: Paper ; fol. 93 + (1) ; catchwords ; partial foliation in ink using Hindu-Arabic numerals ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 17-27 lines per page.
Description: Rubricated ; text in red and commentary in black ; MS in fair condition but worm-eaten and mended; folio 2 partly defective.
Origin: [Kitāb al-Kāfī] Copied Thursday, 19 Rajab 1048 by Aḥmad ibn Shaʻbān ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī ibn Tāj al-Dīn al-Fayyūmī (fol. 8b) -- [Kitāb Sharḥ Alfīyat] Copied Saturday 25 Rajab 989 (fol. 51b) -- [Kitāb Sharḥ al-Raḥbīyah] Copied by ʻAbd al-Qādir ibn Sulaymān al-Makkī (fol. 93b).
Ownership signatures: ʻAbd al-Bāqī ibn ʻAbd al-Ḥaqq dated 1091, seal impression of Sharīf ibn Sharīf Ghālib 1252 (fol. 9a); Abī ʻAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Ḥusayn al-Rajabī (fol. 52a).
