- Binding: Bound, ca. 1840, in English brown stamped calf in a design with a rectangular central panel infilled with six long strips of twirled floral sprays.
Other decoration, ff. 1-213v: Of the 37 major initials expected for the 35 books of the Moralia, and its dedication and prologue, only 23 are present; the 14 initials for books 10-12, 17-18, 20-25, 27, 30 and 35 are missing due to loss of leaves.
Number of scribes, ff. 1-213v: Several.
Layout, ff. 1-213v: Gatherings mainly of 8 leaves but many gatherings and leaves are missing; 2 columns of 55 lines ruled in dry point up to f. 160 (quire break) and thereafter in lead; pricking along both inner and outer margins; written above top line. - Former Owner(s):
