Collation: Parchment (southern preparation), fol. ii + 79 + ii (modern foliation 1-44, five unfoliated leaves, 45-74) ; 1-710 810 (-10).
Layout: Text 1 written in 29 long lines with writing on the first ruled line, remainder in 27 long lines beginning on second ruled line; ruled in hard point with double boundary lines; prickings in outer margins.
Script: Written in humanistic textualis media characterized by gothic proportions and occasional gothic traits in very black ink; one 15th-century corrector or reader had added index notes, punctuation, and prosodiae as well as manicules; fol. 1, headings in red and red marginal index notes; index notes, mostly proper names, added by several hands in the remainder of manuscript.
Decoration: Spaces for initials left blank, beginning in text 3, guide letters present.
Origin: Written in northern Italy, certainly after 1440, the date of the composition of text 3.
Former owner's inscription on front flyleaf in Hebrew, possibly a pawn note.
